Objectives of the Course
At the end of the Term, the students should be able to:
- Participate in class (2 posts minimum)
- Identify the different types of Rune Divination
- Know the history and background of each method
- Interpret Runes in their own way of understanding
- To accept the outcomes of their readings with a light heart and a clear mind
Class Standing
The grades given out will each have their own category and weighed average. Each category has been spread out to evenly balance the load of each metric.
- 40% Class Participation (Discussion, Lecture, Recitation)
- 30% Seatwork (Practical, RP'd out in class)
- 30% Final Examination (RP'd out in class)
Overall Grading
Quills will be given at the level of "A" (Acceptable) or above. The grading system has been established, and is in use in the Harry Potter Universe. Below you will find the appropriate grading guidelines and how much is needed in order to achieve said grades:

- O (90-100%)
- E (80-89%)
- A (70-79%)
- P (60-69%)
- D (50-59%)
- T (0-49%)
